Are you looking for something fun to do with your kids? I have the perfect thing for you. Saylor has been into that gross fart slime lately, so I knew this was perfect for us. This video (see HERE) showed up in my FB feed and I thought it seemed totally easy to do! No weird ingredients. All you need is:
In the original video I went off of, they made a huge batch, so I cut that in half. The amount of slime that I made was perfect for 2 kids, and would have worked well for up to 4 in my opinion. All you do is:
Ever since Saylor was a newborn, we have given her a bath every night before bed. I don’t wash her hair every day, or even get it wet, but taking a bath became part of our routine early on. Saylor has always loved the bath, and it’s been a great way to get the last of her energy out, as well as getting clean before getting into bed. Want to know the best part of taking a bath? Getting out and putting on jammies! Seriously though, Say right out of the bath, dressed, with wet hair is my favorite!
Who else around here has a 3 year old? Or a messy husband (LOL)? Or even is into crafting? If so, I am so excited to share something with you I recently discovered. That’s right, I’m talking about Goo Gone Original Spray Gel.
Before I get into it, let me remind you that I have been potty training Saylor over the past 3 weeks or so (more on that later!). She has done so well, and she responded well to a reward/bribe system, lol. A major part of that system was STICKERS. Oh, stickers. I sort of hate them. They get on everything, and come off of nothing! Until now! Seriously though, Goo Gone saved some kitchen cabinets at a friends lake house we were staying at over the long weekend.
When Jord Watches said they wanted to work with me, I was ecstatic! I have admired their unique, timeless pieces for a while now, and couldn’t wait to get my hands on one. Jord creates timepieces that are not only for convenience, but for style and conversation. #coolwatch …am I right?
Shown above is my women’s watch, in Dark Sandalwood. I wanted to really show the beautiful wood, that is so gorgeous and rich in color. I also love that this watch is very light weight, I honestly don’t even notice that I have it on! A few people stopped me the first time I wore it and asked “Is that a wood watch?”, “That is really cool!”…so basically don’t wear it if you don’t want to get asked about it 🙂 A watch can definitely make or break an outfit, and a Jord wood watch definitely helps to MAKE! It also comes in a gorgeous wooden box, which is a plus to me because I love good packaging!
You know what is terrible? Arizona in the summer. LOL…I know, I know but it is SO BEAUTIFUL in the winter! Before the year 2016 I would have said hands down I preferred the heat over the snow, but after living in Utah in the winter and Arizona in the summer, I choose SNOW! You literally can not take off enough clothes to try and get cool, but you can bundle up and make yourself warm. I don’t understand how people live here (AZ) willingly, haha.
Anyways, we only have about a week left here, then off to San Diego for a few days and then Bass Lake for a few days, a pit stop in Vegas to see my brand new first nephew(!!!), then HOME! I can’t wait! Summer sales with a family is hard, you guys. Especially when you just moved into your first pretty home. I can’t wait to get back to our routine, and Saylor starts preschool and dance class as soon as we get back. So much fun stuff!

I recently discovered Smarty Pants Vitamins and was so excited when they offered to send me some vitamins. I am always on the hunt for the best tasting ones (along side the nutritional value), not just for me, but for Saylor too. She is the pickiest little girl when it comes to chewy, gummy things, so when I tried these I KNEW instantly that these were something she would enjoy!
I received the 3 bottles pictured here. I tried a few of them and can honestly say they are the best tasting gummy vitamins I have had! They don’t have a weird aftertaste and they don’t have a weird consistency. Each bottle has different ingredients, carefully thought out and determined based off what each one of us needs. As I was sitting here minding my own business, watching Laguna Beach reruns for the umpteenth time, I get a random text from an old friend asking when I was going to give Saylor a sibling. Seriously?! No “Hi! How ya doing?!” first??!! Shoot straight, why don’t ya?
I can’t tell you how many times I have been asked this since Saylor has been born. She just turned 3! Give me a break! One thing that I learned from becoming a mom is that what you thought and planned when you were younger, goes out the window. 2 year age gap sounds perfect right? The thought of getting and being pregnant when Saylor was barely a year old soon became comical to me. I couldn’t imagine!
