Summertime with Swimzip

Summer is in full swing around here and that means I’m worried about sun protection. Skin cancer hits close to home in our family, so that has made me more aware of how I protect my family against the sun. I have learned the hard way, that just because you don’t “think” the sun is out enough, or you aren’t getting burnt…BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY! Enter: SwimZip.

I love all things matching, especially when I can participate! I love that the girls’ tops have zippers and can be taken off and put back on so easily. This palm print is the cutest ever, too. You can shop the women’s collection HERE and the girl’s collection HERE.

Getting Summer Ready with Aveeno Baby Suncare

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

Can you believe summer is already here?! I know in some places, it has already arrived. Here in Utah we have gotten a few teases of warm weather, but we have been enjoying some nice spring weather. Being a mom of young kids, I am ultra aware of sun protectant, now more than I ever have been. I want to protect their sensitive skin, and I have realized that you can get a sunburn even in 70 degree weather!

Picking a sunscreen was always stressful to me. There are so many choices, and they all claim to be the best, do the best job, most affordable, non-irritating…I could go on and on. You know what I am talking about. All I know is that my babies have sensitive skin and I try to use good products that don’t contain a bunch of junk on them.

A New Car Seat for Saylor

I am so excited to share this post with you. It has been a long time in the making, and I’d like to thank Chicco for sponsoring this post. I know you probably roll your eyes when you see sponsored, but I want to preface with saying that I reached out to Chicco to set up this collaboration, not the other way around! I like being honest with you guys, and I truly only share products and things with you that I really like and use.

I have been looking at car seats for a few months, as I needed to transition Remi to a convertible car seat. I ideally wanted to give her Saylor’s, and have Say get a new one. Some of the things I was looking for in a new one was that it could transition into a booster, a cupholder (per Saylor’s request), that it had good reviews, and easy to install! I am passionate about car seat safety, so I was also wanting something that would be easy for my husband to understand and install.

Carter’s Little Baby Basics Collection

This post is sponsored by Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

As most of you know, Carter’s is a top mom’s go-to brands. You are guaranteed to find something for your child, and at an awesome price. Recently I was introduced to their Little Baby Basic collection, which I had to grab a few things for Remi from! This line is filled with cute, comfortable pieces perfect for babies from preemie to 24 months.

I’ve always love Carter’s onesies, I personally think they fit the best out of any others. They are not as wide as others, and longer, therefore they can be worn for a longer period of time! Which is great. Another thing I always, always get from Carter’s is their sleepers. I love them so much. They come in cute designs, and I love that a lot of pieces you can just keep on them all day long and still look fairly put together, haha, because #momlife. Sometimes you just wear jammies all day, and sometimes that is more often than not!

10 Month Old Remi Rowe

Can you believe it, 10 months old?! I sure can’t. I still feel like she is so baby-ish and little, and I love that. I want to soak in as much cuddles and nursing and loves as long as I can. She has grown so much this last month or so, and I’m really noticing it. She is still a tiny thing, which is one of the reasons why she still seems so much like a baby to me. She has 4 teeth, the 2 bottom and her 2 “i” teeth on top (her fangs) which is so funny! I never want to forget that. She’s like a little vampire and it’s so cute.

When Sisters Become Friends

  • This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Carter’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

As the oldest of 3 girls, I grew up with 2 built in best friends. I won’t go into the details of the road we took to become friends (sorry, mom!), but we are the best of friends now & I love that my girls have the opportunity to develop that. It is amazing to see the connection they have, even from such a young age. Saylor is so motherly toward Remi, always wanting to help her and keep her away from her toys, haha!

Ever since before Saylor was born, Carter’s was our go to choice for clothing. They carry the cutest prints and styles, are affordable & have good sales, and their sizing runs more true to size than other baby/children’s clothes. I saved a lot of Saylor’s clothes for Remi, and as Remi grows, the nostalgia I feel when I go through her old clothes is bittersweet. I love that my girls can share the same clothes, and that they both can create memories in little outfits.

Starting Solids with Nuby

Hi all! Remi turns 6 months on Saturday (what?!), so starting her on solids has been on my mind the last few weeks. We choose to skip cereals and just introduce her around 6 months. I had been looking for a few things to make feeding her easier, and I am here to share a few of my favorite things that I have found!

First is this E-Z Squee-z. I have loved this. It is a soft, squeezable silicon bottle that promotes self feeding and is easy for little hands to hold. I simply pour a small amount of pureed food in it and let Remi figure it out. We have used it a few times and it is cute to see her figure out bringing it to her mouth and chewing/sucking on it.

Baby Shower Gift Idea’s for the New Mom

Hi all! I am sure we have all felt the pressure of finding a great gift for a new mom. Especially if you don’t have kids, it can be hard to know what is really needed and useful. Well I am here to let you in on a few products that are a sure hit.

(this face can be deceiving LOL)

I know when I was a new mom, creating my first baby registry, I didn’t think about putting things like diaper rash creams on it. There are many choices, and I didn’t even think about my baby getting a diaper rash, nonetheless what I would even do for it! After Saylor came, I quickly realized I needed something! Newborns poop literally all the time and their skin is so sensitive, it is pretty much inevitable. I so wish I had some Boudreaux’s Butt Paste® to help with my littles sore bum.

100th Post and an Update!

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have realized that I completely missed Remi’s 4 month old picture. Second kid problems, and I right? Seeing as she is 5 months in just 10 days, I really should just do it so I at least have it for memory sake…haha!

I can’t believe this is my 100th post. I feel like I go through phases where I feel like I have found my little corner in this blogging/Internet world, and then I’ll go through phases where, being completely honest, I am just completely lazy. This actually takes a lot of work and time, now a days I either feel brain dead from being so tired, or I literally just don’t have the time of day to sit and drum up some content.
