Hi all! Long time no talk! Life and summer happen…am I right? Anyways, I am back and here to tell you about a fun, new company I was recently introduced to. IncrediBundles is a site full of the best baby gifts. They create extraordinary bundles, ranging from book bundles, sleep bundles, and even diaper and wipe subscriptions!
I was gifted an Announcement Package, which includes the cutest stuffed animal that Remi is obsessed with, and a diaper and wipe subscription! Here is a little about the subscription and how it works.
Baby Shower Gift Idea’s for the New Mom
Hi all! I am sure we have all felt the pressure of finding a great gift for a new mom. Especially if you don’t have kids, it can be hard to know what is really needed and useful. Well I am here to let you in on a few products that are a sure hit.
(this face can be deceiving LOL)
I know when I was a new mom, creating my first baby registry, I didn’t think about putting things like diaper rash creams on it. There are many choices, and I didn’t even think about my baby getting a diaper rash, nonetheless what I would even do for it! After Saylor came, I quickly realized I needed something! Newborns poop literally all the time and their skin is so sensitive, it is pretty much inevitable. I so wish I had some Boudreaux’s Butt Paste® to help with my littles sore bum.
Hatch Baby Rest
If you are like me, you need white noise to sleep. Troy and I have to have a fan going all night long, or we (I) can’t sleep! I don’t know if it was smart or not, but we passed our white noise necessity down to Saylor. She sleeps with a fan as well, or whatever app we can come up with if we are traveling. When I discovered the Hatch Baby Rest, I knew I would love it! It is sleek and innovative, and has a lot more functions than the fan we have been using. What I loved even more about it, is that there is an app you can use to set a timer for it, control the volume and colors…pretty much anything. And it is all customizable. Totally cool!
How To Make A Diaper Cake
…that isn’t that appealing to the eye, LOL! Note to self, next time I do this, make sure someone else is around to help. Having only one set of hands proved to make things difficult.
So I’m going to my girlfriends baby shower tomorrow, and last minute decided to make a diaper cake. Because, why not? I have never made one before, so I hit up Google, and went off of the tutorial found HERE. I didn’t have rubber bands at home, and didn’t feel like going to the store for them, so I planned to use twine to tie the layers together.
Baby Shower Gift Guide!
Does anyone feel like they are really good at giving baby shower gifts? I do! Haha, honestly though, being a mom has made me really aware of what to give for gifts. Before having Saylor, I was a big giver of clothes, which don’t get me wrong, clothes are amazing to get because, duh, our babies need clothes! But, now I give gifts based on a few things. First, necessary things that you will need for a long time (IE diapers, wipes, diaper bag!). And second, things that you wouldn’t necessarily buy for yourself, things that you wouldn’t think you need, or things that you may not have heard of (IE DockATot, Solly wrap, Milestone Cards).
