I am about a week early giving this 9 month update on Remi, but if I don’t do it while I have a few extra minutes & while I’m thinking about it, IT WON’T GET DONE. Haha! The struggle is real. I had every intention of being on top of Remi’s monthly updates, but I failed hard. I don’t know why it is so difficult to do, but when I’m busy with my 4.5 year old and running her around, trying to keep the house clean, trying to keep Remi happy…sometimes things I *intended* to do, just don’t make the priority list. AND THAT IS OKAY.
Remi Rowe is a cute as ever, but boy would she be so much cuter to me IF SHE SLEPT! LOL. That’s right…she is still a terrible sleeper. I honestly don’t quite know how I am functioning, but the times when she is so happy and smiley, makes me somehow forget that she doesn’t sleep. She will take about 2 naps during the day, for about an hour each time. Then at night she wakes up every 3 hours on average. Every night. I am not kidding when I say the longest she has slept is a 5 hour stretch, and that has happened maybe 3 times in her whole 9 months of life! Girl, just sleep!
She is still so perfectly tiny, probably about 15 pounds. But she is getting chubby and I love it! I kiss her squishy cheeks all day long. She finally cut her first tooth a week ago and is working on her second one. She isn’t crawling yet, and isn’t super interested in it, but will find herself in the crawling position sometimes and wonder what to do, haha. Her favorite foods are bananas and any sort of squash. She can eat a lot. Still nursing great, and that I am thankful for.
I never want to forget her chubby cheeks, her dainty hands and feet, and her ears that stick out just the tiniest bit. She has a tiny dimple in her chin, and is still rocking that bald spot. She loves dancing, loves when we go into her room when she wakes up, and loves her big sister. Saylor can make her light up like no one else. She has a long torso, and loves to bury her head in my neck. She is a total mommy’s girl, loves being outside, and starting making the kissing noise all the time.
That drool is constant.
She loved that pillow, haha.
That’s all for now! We love our cute girl and are so glad she joined our family. I can’t believe she is (almost) 9 months old, but on the other hand it feels like it has been 9 years. Here is to the downhill slide to a year!

My beautiful baby girl! I say she’s mine because she came from my baby too. Love her cuteness so much. Can’t believe it’s already 9 months! Sleep baby , sleep💤
