I can’t believe Christmas is almost here! When you become a parent, it seems like holidays and such really sneak up on you. As Saylor is getting older, she is 4.5 now, I am realizing the importance of teaching her the true meaning of Christmas…that it isn’t just about Santa and getting gifts. (which as a 4 year old is honestly the best part!)
I was recently introduced to THIS website that focuses on Christmas traditions that are centered around Christ. They create crafts and things to do each night as family to remember Christ. THIS 25 Days of Christ set prompts you and your family to gather each night in December and focus on one part of the life of Jesus. It comes with a small ornament for each day to be a symbol of a story.
So this set that Saylor helped me add to our garland is the This is the Christ ornament set. It comes with 12 beautiful wooden ornaments that have a bible reference along with a biblical name for Christ. I thought that it would be a nice addition to the garland on our stairs.
You can find the set HERE. I used twine I had laying around to tie them up, and I think it turned out super cute. Everything come perfectly packaged and is very well made. They would make a wonderful, thoughtful gift!
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and take time out to remember the true meaning of the season.
