Who has heard of Savvy Curls? If you haven’t, I feel sorry for you! But don’t worry, I am here to give you the honest truth about them, and to show you my results.
Savvy Curls are hair wraps made with thermal retentive and curl forming materials that work in conjunction with the heat zone on your scalp to produce “no heat” curls. It is genius! I was intrigued and knew I had to give it a try! My hair doesn’t hold a curl very well, so I was very curious to see if this product would make a difference.
To start, you are supposed to let your hair dry almost completely. They then recommend to use mousse on your dry hair before you wrap, but mousse makes me itchy and I don’t care for it, so I used a sea salt texture spray.
This is my almost dry hair, just sprayed with product.
Place the band on your head and take small sections of hair and wrap them around. It really is so easy!
The finished wrap is pretty enough to wear out! Now time to wait until hair is completely dry.
This is what I used to help hold the curls. Smells so good, too!
The end results! I wore the wrap for about 3 hours. You can wear it as long as you want and need. They recommend sleeping in it too, it is so comfortable and soft it honestly doesn’t bother you! I was genuinely surprised on the type of curls this wrap created, and they lasted into the next day, even after I had slept on them. This will definitely be saving me time in the mornings getting ready, and as a mom, that is huge!
I highly recommend trying out Savvy Curls! Check them out on IG, @savvy_curls, it is fun to see different tutorials and before and after pictures. Save your hair and time by using Savvy Curls!

I tried the same band but I have short, thick hair and it’s not coming out as nice as yours. Any tips?
How long did you leave it in for? And did you use product? The tighter you wrap it makes tighter curls too, so maybe try that? They also have a convertible wrap that has an extra piece for wrapping on the top of your head that I will be adding to this post in the next few days:)
