How to Combat Dry Hands in the Winter

Does anyone else get reallllly dry skin in the winter time? I do! Not just on my hand either, everywhere! I’ll scratch myself raw…but that is another story for a different day. Today I’m talking about how I keep my hands nice and soft, instead of dry, cracked, and even bleeding.

My first must have is a great scrub, made with a good oil base that will remain on your hands to moisturize. Sometimes scrubbing my hands too much can make them worse if I am using a crappy scrub, so this is key. This Vanilla Cream Latte Scrub from Spa Thyme is everything I look for in a scrub. It’s made up of ingredients like almond and coconut oil, vitamin E oil, and then a few natural ingredients to make this the BEST SMELLING THING EVER. I promise there is no exaggeration on that, either. Bonus, it is super affordable too!

My next key thing is a thick, but not greasy, cream…preferably unscented or a light light scent. I’ve found that in this Dream Cream from Tubby Todd. I’ve used this for over a year I want to say, and I have repurchased twice. I love it. It is the perfect consistency, smell, and really leaves my hands feeling protected and moisturized. Try it!

Don’t worry, I have another jar! Lather it on thick.

Because I wash my hands so much, I do this once a day. That might be more that enough for some, but for me it is the perfect amount! Here’s to getting rid of dry hands this winter…for good!

Robyn
